1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Nu-century Audio Cleanup & Mastering Pro ("the Service"), whether through the website or the Windows desktop application, you agree to these Terms of Service and the accompanying Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

Nu-century Audio Cleanup & Mastering Pro processes audio and video files to reduce background noise, isolate dialogue, and master audio for loudness and clarity. The Service is offered both as a hosted web application and a downloadable Windows desktop application, sharing the same underlying processing engine. Output quality depends on the condition of the original recording; the Service does not guarantee a specific result for any given file.

3. Accounts

You must provide an accurate email address to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials and any activated desktop license key confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

4. Credits and billing

Processing is billed using a credit system, consumed based on the duration of each file processed. New accounts receive a starting allocation of free credits. Additional credits are purchased via subscription plans or one-time top-ups, processed through Paystack. Credits are non-refundable once consumed by a successfully processed file. Unused credit balances do not expire unless stated otherwise at time of purchase.

5. Your content

You retain full ownership of any audio or video files you upload or process. We do not claim any rights to your content. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights to any file you upload or process, and for complying with applicable law regarding its content. Files uploaded to the web version are stored temporarily to enable processing and download, and are handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Desktop application processing

When using the Windows desktop application, audio and video processing occurs entirely on your own machine. Your media files are never uploaded to our servers through the desktop application - only account authentication, license activation, and credit balance checks require an internet connection.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to process content that is illegal, infringes the rights of others, or that you do not have the right to process. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts used in violation of this section.

8. Service availability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the website, API, or desktop application.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nu-century Audio Visual Production shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data or unsatisfactory processing results.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
